24, Kasturba Gandhi Marg, New Delhi

Human life is directly connected to water, both within and all around us. This workshop, In "the flow", is a journey/exploration/experience of flow through dance. Insomuch as movement is natural to humans, we are all dancers, in one way or another. To communicate, to find, to discover the body, to live life with total involvement ‐ this is the spontaneous magic of movement.

"Nature forces within us are the true healers of disease"… The flow will help you connect with the elements of nature within and outside, create a conscious communication and expression, a discovery of yourself, to live life with total involvement and sensitivity to the human and natural environment.

About the Facilitator
Shilpika Bordoloi is a contemporary dancer with over 15 years of experience in dance and movement in a wide range of disciplines ranging from Classical Manipuri, Bharata‐natyam, Modern dance, Organic movement as well as the martial arts, including Tai‐Ji‐Quan. For her dance and movement is not a hobby but a way of life, wherein the journey of experimentation, discovery, joy and pathos unfolds itself through the emotive medium of the body‐and as such she is always eagerly committed and creatively enthused towards working with people of different levels, backgrounds, ages.

Note: This workshop is open for all (7+) age groups. Please wear loose fitting and comfortable clothes.
