Kriti Team invites you to Dance, Rise and Demand an end to violence against women at the One Billion Rising campaign.  

The Kriti Team in collaboration with SANGAT (OBR coordinator-South Asia) alongwith many other organisations and women's rights groups in Delhi invites you to One Billion Rising Campaign launch on 24th November.

This is the time to rise against all the violence that you or your friend as ever experienced. join your hands with other billion women to stand and demand an end to this violence. 

 We invite you to join ONE BILLION RISING and make a promise to drop whatever you're doing on February 14th 2013 and RISE UP AND DANCE to end violence against women and girls --ONCE AND FOR ALL.


We invite you all to join the campaign and pledge your support.  Kriti Team, Sangat, Jagori and several women’s groups in Delhi have joined hands to launch the campaign on November 24th 2012. 

You will find us at the OBR launch at Gestures and Docushop stall by Kriti Team. We have also organized an exhibition titled, 'Violence Speak', to raise billion voices against violence and demand an end to the violence suffered by all of us. 

Save the date for screenings @ Kriti Film Club, 1st December & 15th December

Kriti Film Club invites you for its end of the year screenings on the 1st and 15th of December 2012. The first screening will mark the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (3rd December) with explorations of disabled peoples’ worlds, their issues and perspective towards their lives, their journeys with their partners together, through thick and thin. This month will also mark Human Rights Day (10th December) through the screening of a film that aims to build a secular conscience and another that shows how young footsteps can make a difference in their and societal lives! Come and watch these documentaries directed by women and men film makers, which span various lives, different realities…hear the stories, march together making peace and exploring love and identities…

Screenings will run on two Saturdays this month, 1st and 15th December 2012. Mark them on your calendar in advance, so you don’t miss them!
