About the film: This documentary investigates the narratives of mothers who navigate through significant breastfeeding challenges due to congenital birth anomalies. It traces the arduous process encountering medical professionals, who often have a dismissive or prescriptive approach.

About the film maker: Effath Yasmin is an IBCLC & a Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist. Her special interests lies in Infant Oral and Sucking Dysfunction, Tongue Tie Assessment, Treatment & Rehabilitation. Being a visionary, Yasmin also spear-headed a professional support forum for Oral Ankylofrenulae - the most revered as an international knowledge sharing network amongst multi-disciplinary health professionals globally. Her work has been published in the International Journal of Laser Dentistry (IJLD) and in a textbook of laser dentistry and currently she is pursing self-funded research assignments on the subject of tongue tie & on various facets of impacts of ties on breastfeeding. She continues to tirelessly work on her seminal work on link between tongue ties and depression. Yasmin serves on several national and international boards and committees (Birth India, an NGO striving to support safe birth in India, International Consortium of oral Ankylofrenula Professionals (ICAP) & Advisory to GOLD Lactation). She also writes extensively on lactation, tongue tie, parenting & Craniosacral Biodynamic therapy.

About the film club: The Kriti Film Club is an educational initiative of a not-for-profit organisation 'Kriti team'. It screens and shares documentary films on development, environment and socially relevant issues, in an effort to influence mindsets and behaviour towards an equitous, just and peaceful world. It also curates issue based film festivals and organises neighbourhood, school, college or institutional film shows. The Kriti Film Club has been screening 'thought-provoking cinema' regularly and independently since 2000.
