ONE MUSTARD SEED

Produced by PSBT

on 11th May, 2019
7 pm
Gulmohar Hall
India Habitat Centre
Lodi Road, New Delhi

The screening will be followed by a discussion with the filmmaker.

About the Film: Why do we have such a contentious relationship with the idea of dying? What keeps us from looking at death, or the dying, in the eye; from making peace with the process? The film wonders if the process of dying can become meaningful; and if embracing our own mortality might be the key to a more fulfilling life.

About the Film maker: Aparna Sanyal is a multiple award winning director and producer based in India. She runs Mixed Media Productions, a production house based in Delhi, and is one of the co-founders of The Carbon Union, a creative collective. She received the National Award for directing 'A Drop of Sunshine', a film about Reshma Valliappan's journey with Schizophrenia.

About the Producer: The Public Service Broadcasting Trust is a pioneering non-governmental, not-for-profit organisation based in New Delhi, that commissions, mentors and produces independent documentary films. Founded in 2000 to empower filmmakers, democratise access to the media and encourage the freedom of expression, the unique organisation has supported and nurtured over 500 independent voices and created around 700 documentaries on myriad themes and subjects.
