About the Film: This uplifting documentary chronicles the extraordinary journey of the newly formed India's Blind Women's National Cricket Team as they overcome socio-economic challenges, language barriers, and physical disabilities to represent their country with pride. The team won the Women's T20 Blind Cricket World Cup in November 2025.
About the Filmmakers: Shanthi Mohan is a pioneering cinematographer and filmmaker from India. An alumnus of the esteemed Film and Television Institute of India, Pune, Shanthi was one of the first few women to break into the role of Director of Photography in the Indian film industry. With a diverse portfolio spanning feature films, music videos, documentaries, and shorts, Shanthi has recently ventured into directing and producing films. Mukund Moorthy is an accidental filmmaker based out of Bengaluru, India. He has a full time corporate job as a senior executive in global organisation but he has been always passionate about films. This documentary project has been his long cherished dream to explore how the Blind see the world.
The film will be followed by a discussion with film crew and some protagonists.
