5th June is World Environment Day. In its fourth year, the Eco Festival aims at creating
greater awareness, interest and actions to save the environment and ecosystem,
and make efforts at mitigating climate change.

Saturday, 2ND June 2012
4.30 to 5.30 pm Waste to
EcoArt workshop: Convert waste into useful and artistic products for
use – newspaper and gift bags, school stationary, home décor items etc. A fun
filled learning workshop for children and adults (whose hearts are still
childlike).
6.00 to 7.00 pm: Recite an ecoPoem – win a gift!
Showcase your poetic talent with an environmental message that can
inspire others. Open for all age groups and special gifts for the best poems!
7.00 – 8.30 pm: EcoReels – Earth
Witness: Reflections of the Times and the Timeless, by Akanksha Joshi; PSBT/

common people - a teacher, a farmer, a shepherd, a father - find themselves on
the front line of the earth’s biggest, most complex crisis: climate change – in
the mountains of Nagaland, the grasslands of Kutch, the Gangetic delta, and the
forests of Central India - they use this challenge as a part of their art with
nature.
