The film society run by students at LSR is organising photography and film making competitions and the Kriti Film Club is engaging with this process in an effort to promote documentary viewing and discussions for social change.

WDC Miranda House, Delhi University; CHSJ, MenEngage Delhi, and the One Billion Rising Campaign and several other colleges and civil society groups like Kriti team are coming together for a three day Gender Mela that will bring together students, academics, activists and practitioners from a broad range of disciplines, working on issues of gender, environment and masculinities. In keeping with the nature of the Mela, the three day event will see a mix of formal and informal events. The plenary sessions and formal discussions will provide an opportunity to expand the canvas, build understanding and deepen the dialogue on these issues. The stalls and other informal spaces will enable showcasing of work by various individuals and organisations as well as provide opportunities for intersectional dialogue. Apart from these, formal and informal sessions like small group discussions, talks, nukkad naataks, debates and film screenings have been planned. Cultural performances and musical evenings will enable participants to have fun, dance, sing without inhibitions while engaging with issues.
