About the Filmmaker: Shahrukhkhan Chavada spent his formative years in the rural environs of Palampur , North Gujarat, in the western region of India. But, in a country obsessed with engineering as a career choice, he wanted anything but that. So he chose to pursue a career in media & films instead.
He learned the ropes in media, animation, and filmmaking in Pune, where his love affair with watching the world through the lens truly began. However, it took a drastic turn when he was exposed toItalian, Iranian, and French new-wave cinema, which influenced his perspectives on other aspects of life.
His debut film, Kayo Kayo Colour?, depicts his fascination with routine and highlights itas a visual language to weave his story and let the audience decipher it.

About the Kriti Film Club: We are an educational initiative of a not-for-profit organisation 'Kriti team'. We screen and distribute documentary films on development, environment, and socially relevant issues, in an effort to positively influence mindsets and behaviour towards creating an equitous, just, and peaceful world. We also curate issue-based film festivals and organise documentary and fiction film shows in neighbourhoods, communities, schools, colleges, or institutions on request and otherwise.
